Today is a very bad day. I woke up with an enormous headache, took already two naps and I’m not feeling better than this morning. I’m trying to entertain myself, to forget the headache. To write a post is always an entertainment.
Last Saturday I went to a wedding celebration. But… before the celebration I should found some adequate clothes. I thought that perhaps my mum could help. Her size is usually the 46EU, so I should fit in. I’ve tried a long skirt but the button was almost 10 cm apart from the place where it should be buttoned. Another long skirt (elastic one) was great but my desperate husband was saying “what a shame!”.
Well, after one hour trying clothes, I’ve taken (short) black pants, but because they will be unbuttoned for obvious reasons, they seemed long pants. Also a large brown tunic was chosen. Well… large for my mother.
I passed all the celebration on the Saturday morning pushing up the pants. Everybody was looking at me, I wonder if they were looking to the clothes or to my belly. Anyway, it was the first time I felt bad in a ceremony. What a disgrace.
Today, I’ve used a fragrance that was given by Nadya, a Bulgarian co-worker. It smells like roses. Well, it is a kind of rose’s oil and not perfume. Angel (another Bulgarian co-worker) enters in the office and asks: “Are you using any Bulgarian perfume?”
If you know me as well, you already know that I really bought a cowboy hat. Yesterday I was with a very old friend and we were talking about what kind of curtain rod I should put on my windows. Suddenly I’ve pick up the hat from the chair, put on my head and look to him very seriously (or laughing, I don’t remember).
- You should put a rod with one support in the middle… (I’ve put the hat) … with one (he was laughing), with one… (laughing uncontrollably).
Well, he doesn’t have finished his idea. I wonder what’s so funny about the hat.
A few days ago I went to a shop to buy more threads to continue the cross stitch embroidery. At least, I left home just to buy threads; that was my intention, initially. I have remembered that to buy a new pair of shoes will be a good idea. And I remembered also that usually I do not buy only one but two (in almost everything). After a quick calculation I have entered into the store and, of course I was right, I bought two pairs of shoes.
In fact I don’t like shopping. I hate to enter into dozens of shops to buy nothing at the end. When I really need something, I always go to a specific store just to buy the specific thing. If the first shop doesn’t have what I really want, I visit a second store, after that… I quit.
At my returning path I saw another shop :) and I have entered just by curiosity. Huumm, nice sweatshirts! I have tried some of them and imagine how many I have bought!!! Two of course. I can imagine what will be the thought of a friend of mine if someday he sees me with these low-necked sweatshirts. He even could see my sexy scar between the breasts. Should I wear these sweatshirt to come to work, or not?!
Also, I passed by the nightwear corridor. Humm… nice pajama, oh and nice chemise set. The pajama was red in a japanese style and the chemise was in a purple color, both in satin tissue. The chemise set includes a robe of the same fabric. Yes… I have bought both. Today I was into the shop again to exchange the nightwear. It was to tied on the chest (well… breasts!).
I’m trying to decide if next week I should go to the hairdresser. I have a conference at Zaragoza in three weeks and I’m thinking to have a hair cut. But… I’m undecided… Should I cut or not my hair?!
Most of people that reads this blog knows that usually I wear a hat, at least in the winter. Many people look at me on the street, I know that. It is not usual to wear a hat in Portugal. Some colleagues say that I’m sweetie wearing a hat. My father says often that I remind him a cuddly toy. :) I began to wear a hat just after reaching my financial independence and since then is a characteristic that belongs to me. I always wear the hat when I leave home. Well, depending on where I go, I wear different hats. The most used is the one that reminds my father that I’m a cuddle toy :) I have another one, for special occasions. Ok, I have two hats of Santa Claus and one of police officer, but I will not talk about these ones. :) To buy a hat is not like a pair of shoes that you use everyday. Well, first you need to be sure that you can afford for a hat (that’s the most difficult thing to do), and second, you really need to find the hat that is the best combination with your personality. It is not an easy task. Last time that I bought a hat was at Cleveland (OH) and it took me 2 hours choosing the hat. Just don’t ask for the price, it was a stupidity, but it worth it. And now, to finish my tribute to those who wear hats, let’s sing or... dance:
Baby take off your coat real slow. Take off your shoes I'U. take off your shoes. Baby take off your dress yes yes yes. You can leave your hat on - You can leave your hat on - You can leave your hat on. Go on over there turn on the light no all the lights.
